Founder of The Essence of Breath
My journey into this work began in the most beautiful and unexpected way — on a quiet retreat in Bali. I had travelled there seeking rest — a pause from the rhythm of everyday life. What I didn’t expect was to step into an experience that would open me softly, reshape my inner world and gently guide me back to myself.
During that five-day immersion, I joined my first ever group breathwork session. I entered the room curious and open, with no idea how profoundly this simple practice would touch me. As the session unfolded, something within me awakened. Sensations I had long ignored came alive. Emotions I had tucked away found space to breathe.
For the first time in a long time, I felt myself truly listening — not with my mind, but with my body.


Returning home, I sensed that the experience I had in Bali was not meant to be a single moment in time, but the beginning of a deeper unfolding. I continued exploring breathwork and somatic healing, noticing how it supported my nervous system, softened old patterns and helped me reconnect with the places within me that had gone quiet from years of tension, stress and survival.
Breathwork didn’t just help me heal — it helped me remember.
It taught me how to soften into my body, how to honour my boundaries, how to tend to my emotions with gentleness and how to ground myself when life feels overwhelming. Each session drew me closer to presence, closer to clarity and closer to a truth quietly rising within me.
This work wasn’t just for me — it was calling me to share it.
As I deepened into somatic practices, trauma-informed training and my own embodied journey, I felt a steady pull to create a space where others could experience the same softening, curiosity and inner safety that breathwork had given me.
And so, The Essence of Breath was born — not from ambition, but from remembering.
A Sanctuary for Gentle Healing
The Essence of Breath is a sanctuary for those who long to reconnect with themselves — to soften, to unwind, to feel, to regulate and to return. It’s a space for anyone navigating tension, stress, emotional holding or a desire to feel more at home in their body.
The way I guide is rooted in compassion, nervous-system awareness, and a deep respect for the pace of the body. I hold space slowly and intentionally, trusting the body's innate intelligence. In sessions, I integrate trauma-informed breathwork, somatic awareness, intuitive guidance and grounded presence — always led by your choice, your pace and your inner capacity.
My hope is that within this space, you feel held, supported and gently guided back to your own essence.
