The Essence of Breath is a sanctuary for gentle, trauma-informed breathwork and somatic healing — a space where you are invited to soften back into your body, reclaim inner safety and remember your wholeness.

With deep compassion and grounded presence, we honour your unique journey — respecting the pace of your nervous system and the wisdom already within you.

My approach is rooted in compassion, nervous-system awareness and a deep respect for the pace of the body. I hold space slowly and intentionally, trusting the body's innate intelligence. Each session integrates trauma-informed breathwork, somatic awareness, intuitive guidance and grounded presence — always led by your choice, your pace and your inner capacity.

Sessions are guided by one of two different breathwork styles:

Gentle Breathwork

Gentle breathwork is a slow, intentional style of conscious breathing designed to support nervous system regulation, ease stress and bring you back into your body with steadiness and care.

 

Unlike more intense breathwork styles, gentle breathwork prioritises safety, choice and pacing. It helps your system build capacity and safety before exploring deeper emotional work.

 

The intention is not to force a breakthrough — it’s to create the conditions for your body to soften, settle and self-regulate over time.

Gentle breathwork is an ideal starting point if you:

 

  • feel stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed

  • are living with burnout or nervous system fatigue are new to breathwork

  • feel sensitive to intense emotional release

  • want a sustainable daily practice to support calm

  • are working with trauma sensitivity and need a body-led pace

Transformational Breathwork

Transformational Breathwork is a guided, conscious connected breathing practice designed to support emotional processing, nervous system awareness and deeper mind–body connection.

 

It uses a continuous, rhythmic breathing pattern to gently shift the nervous system, allowing stored stress, emotions or patterns held in the body to surface and be processed safely.

It is not a quick fix or a replacement for therapy, but a complementary, body-based practice.

 

Transformational breathwork may help with:

  • emotional release and processing

  • stored stress and tension

  • increased self-awareness

  • mind–body reconnection

  • insight and clarity

  • nervous system adaptability (with proper integration)

Functional Breathing Assessment

At The Essence of Breath, we begin with functional breathwork to gently assess your natural breathing pattern and understand how your nervous system has been coping. Together, we explore whether your breath feels shallow, held or restricted, and bring awareness to what your body may be needing most.

 

From there, we decide which style of breathwork session is the most supportive place to start — whether a gentle grounding practice or a deeper transformational journey — always guided by safety, choice and your unique pace.

45 minute in-person session | $90

A gentle session to calm your nervous system, release stress and reset

This 45-minute Gentle Breathwork Reset session is a space to slow down, soften and come back to yourself. It’s gentle, grounding and supportive — perfect for when you’re feeling overwhelmed, tired or just needing a reset.

In this space, you are never pushed. You’re guided to listen to your body and move at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

This session is really about giving yourself permission to pause—to breathe, to soften and to come back home to yourself in a simple, supported way.

2 hour in-person session | $185

A supportive nervous-system journey to build emotional capacity, safety + inner steadiness.

This 2-hour Transformational Breathwork experience, inspired by the Essence of Breath, is a guided journey designed to support deep release, reconnection and inner clarity — held in a safe, compassionate space.

Through the breath, you’ll be invited into a deeper connection with yourself — creating space to release stored emotions, shift energy and access greater awareness.

This session is really about giving yourself permission to pause—to breathe, to soften and to come back home to yourself in a simple, supported way.

Group Breathwork Sessions

Intimate group sessions for grounding, breath and ongoing nervous system support.

Group Breathwork is a shared experience—coming together in a safe, supportive space to breathe, release and reconnect. There’s something powerful about doing this work alongside others. You’re held not just by the facilitator, but by the collective energy of the group. This can feel deeply supportive, allowing you to go a little deeper, soften a little more and feel held in the process. 

 

Each session is gently guided and accessible for all levels. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve done breathwork before, you’re invited to move at your own pace and honour your own experience.

These sessions are about connection — to yourself, to your breath and to others. A reminder that you’re not alone in what you’re moving through and that there’s real support in simply being together.

5 Session Journey | $900

A deeply supportive, personalised journey back to yourself

​Over the five sessions, we create space to gently unwind what’s been held in the body — supporting nervous system regulation, emotional release and a deeper sense of reconnection. Each session builds on the last, allowing you to go at your own pace, in a way that feels safe and sustainable.

There’s no pressure to “fix” anything here. This work is about softening, listening and allowing your body to lead. Together, we meet whatever is present with compassion — creating space for real, lasting shifts to unfold.

This is for you if you’re feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or ready to deepen your relationship with yourself in a grounded, supported way.
